Potatoes are too good to be used only for cooking. Potatoes can be affective for your skin in various ways. It helps you to tighten your pores, gets rid of wastes clogged in the pores and provides nutrients.

How do I know if it suits my skin type? Put it on your arm for a couple of minutes and if it gets itchy or red, it’s not right for your skin type.

How long do I leave it on for? About 10 to 15 minutes.

Grate a peeled off potato and mix it with corn powder until it starts forming cohesion. Put in the corn powder until the mixture is not too runny so it doesn’t drop down on the face. After washing your face clean, put the mask on your face and cover it with gauze and put the mixture over it again. Leave it on for about 10 to 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, take it off and rinse it off with warm water and finish off with cold water. It is important to use gauze because if you don’t, it hurts your skin when you take the mask off.
